Privacy Policy — GET FIT

GET FIT is a training platform built by a coach, for athletes. We collect the minimum needed to deliver your training, and you can delete everything yourself, in the app, at any time.
What we collect
Account information. A username, a password (stored only as a secure hash by our authentication provider, Amazon Cognito — we never see or store your plain-text password), and optionally your name and email address. Email is used for password reset and, if you are a coached athlete, for communication with your coach. If you sign in with Apple, we receive the identifier Apple provides and, if you choose to share it, your email.
Fitness and training data. Your training plans, scheduled and logged workouts, workout results, personal-record benchmarks (for example run times, lift maxes, swim times), bodyweight entries, and race dates you provide. This data exists to deliver your training and show your progress — it is the product.
Photos. If you attach photos to a logged workout, they are stored privately. Photos are only viewable by you and, if you are a coached athlete, your coach. Our systems enforce this: photo access is checked against your account on every request.
Strava data (optional). If you choose to connect Strava, we receive activity information from Strava (activity type, date, and summary details) solely to suggest matches to your scheduled workouts. Connecting Strava is entirely optional, the connection is initiated by you through Strava's own authorization page, and you can disconnect at any time in the app or by revoking access at strava.com/settings/apps. We do not sell or share Strava data, and our use of it complies with the Strava API Agreement.
Purchases. Subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple. We never see or store your payment details. We store only the plan you are entitled to and an Apple transaction identifier so we can honor your purchase.
Device token (optional). If you enable workout reminders, we store a push-notification token for your device. Turning reminders off stops its use.
What we do NOT do
We do not sell your data. To anyone, ever.
We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.
We do not share your data with third parties except the service providers below, and your coach if you have one.
Who can see your data
Your data is visible to you and — only if you enrolled through a coach or entered a coach's code — to your coach, for the purpose of coaching you. Self-service athletes' data is visible to no one but them and the systems that deliver their training.
Service providers
Your data is stored and processed on Amazon Web Services (Cognito for sign-in, DynamoDB for training data, S3 for photos) in the United States. Purchases are processed by Apple. If you connect Strava, data flows between us and Strava under your authorization.
Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account exists so your training history is there when you need it.
You can delete your account yourself, in the app: Profile → Delete Account. Deletion is immediate and permanent, and removes all three stores of your data: your training records and benchmarks (database), your photos (storage), and your sign-in account (authentication). There is no soft-delete and no retention window — when you delete, it is gone. If anything ever fails during deletion, contact us at support@gregsendurancetraining.com and we will complete it manually.
If you cancel a subscription without deleting your account, training weeks already delivered remain yours.
Children
GET FIT is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. The app's Delete Account feature satisfies deletion directly; for anything else, email support@gregsendurancetraining.com and we will respond promptly.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date here and, for meaningful changes, note it in the app.
